For more than a decade, the Patient Experience: Empathy & Innovation Summit has influenced an international movement focused on empathy in healthcare to improve the care experience for caregivers and patients. Cleveland Clinic and HIMSS will convene healthcare leaders to explore pivotal patient experiences and clinical considerations at the 12th annual summit, held digitally May 12–13, 2021.
As we increase our dependency on digital care, we need to ensure the tools we rely on are enhancing our human connection, not diminishing it. This year’s summit will focus on the human experience and how we can continue to ensure a seamless and compassionate healthcare journey in an increasingly digital environment.
