Tumsilla’s health career spans over 15 years delivering health projects as part of the community voluntary sector, CCG and Local Authority, moving into transformation and large scale change within the NHS, locally and regionally across the UK. Tumsilla has board level experience with the NHS inc. two terms as Non-executive Director of an NHS Primary Care Trust.
Leading service re-design in the UKs largest ‘Fit for the Future’ Programme, PFI builds, large scale programme management and transformation & development of Integrated Care; including supporting health boards to implement recommendations by the NHS National Support Team by working independently for Government Office North West.
The last 8 years dedicated to integrated care solutions within primary care across the UK, including in primary care at UCLPartners (Academic Health Science Network), a partnership of world-leading academic and clinical research centres, NHS organisations, industry, patients and others, aiming to harness research and innovation for excellent patient care and a healthier population.
Tumsilla’s current role is to ensure transformation across Primary Care Networks (Clusters) to support new reforms as part of the national Integrated Care System agenda via population health including supporting behavioural change and introducing digital solutions & developing clinicians as leaders to support change.
Having worked in both within the NHS and independently as a Management Consultant to develop and implement solutions for Integrated Care ensuring all patients can access healthcare in the most appropriate setting by the most appropriate clinical/social care/community professional and/or organisation
