Larry Leisure, cofounder and managing partner, Chicago Pacific Founders (CPF), brings over four decades of experience in the healthcare industry. The CPF team has united top names in the health field—and Larry is no exception. His oversight and influence have been the driving force behind a number of successes across multiple companies on the leading edge of health tech and managed care. Providing better care and more affordable care with greater efficiency has been his guiding motivation; one that’s brought him real success in identifying and addressing key areas of need in the industry.
Leisure cofounded Washington DC-based ADVI, a healthcare advisory firm, where he oversaw a dynamic executive team in the fields of life sciences, managed care and digital health. In a field where cutting-edge technology can transform the world, Leisure’s experience helped guide some of the most forward-thinking firms—bringing true benefit to patients, employers, health systems, payers and investors alike.
Previously, he served in a number of senior leadership positions including as an operating partner at Kleiner, Perkins Caufield & Byers, global managing partner for Accenture’s Health Care Vertical, Health Practice Leader at Towers Perrin (now known as Willis Towers Watson), UnitedHealthCare and Kaiser Permanente.
Leisure contributes significant time catalyzing and supporting healthcare innovation globally through a number of industry and nonprofit initiatives, including:

- Cofounder of Minneapolis-based Employer Health Innovation Roundtable
- Chairman for the UCSF Rosenman Institute, a health technology and life science initiative at the University of California, San Francisco

After completing his undergraduate studies in economics at Stanford University, Leisure earned his master’s degree in finance from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Leisure sits on the board of directors of a number of health technology and health services companies, including BioIntellisense, iN2L, MyCare, P3, Recovery Ways, and WellBe Senior Medical.
