Bruce Liang, Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS)
Mr. Bruce Liang is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS) Pte Ltd. Mr. Liang plays an active role in the advancement of healthcare IT in Singapore. This includes IT funding, policy development, strategy, plan, implementation and operations of country wide programs and capabilities. As CEO of IHiS, Mr. Liang is overall responsible for the delivery of Health IT services to users of IHiS services and products. This includes all Public Healthcare institutions and a significant number of Private Healthcare Institutions including GP Clinics, Community Hospitals, Nursing Homes.
Prior to joining MOH and IHiS, Mr. Liang was with Accenture for 19 years. He held various leadership roles, including Managing Director for Growth and Operations of ASEAN Products Practice as well as the Health and Public Sector Practice in Asia Emerging Markets. He has extensive experience in complex and large scale enterprise planning and Business-IT transformation programs for Governments and large businesses across Asia.
Mr. Liang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS) and has been actively involved in the development of the Singapore infocomm industry. He currently sits on the Executive Committee of Singapore Computer Society (SCS), IMDA’s Governing Council of TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA), NUS School of Computing Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) and Advisory Board of the NTU Ageing Research Institute for Society and Education (ARISE).
He is currently on the Boards of Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech), Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte Ltd and IHiS.
Dr. Keren Priyadarshini, Regional Business Lead, Worldwide Health, Microsoft Asia
As Regional Business Lead of Worldwide Health for Microsoft Asia, Dr. Keren Priyadarshini leads the company’s healthcare business segment across 17 markets in Asia Pacific.
Dr. Priyadarshini is responsible for driving and implementing Microsoft’s healthcare initiatives across the region as well as developing solution offerings and strategies that meet the needs of healthcare and life science customers. She also plays a leading role in establishing thought leadership by defining and articulating the company’s vision for the future of healthcare and sharing how Microsoft technologies and partner solutions are making it a reality.
Dr. Priyadarshini is passionate about empowering providers, payors, and life science companies with the right technology to enable better patient outcomes at lower costs. Improving the quality of healthcare through digital transformation, enabling wider access to healthcare as life expectancy increases, and keeping rising costs in check are issues that keep her awake at night.
Her desire is to create a world of ‘Intelligent Healthcare’ through AI and the cloud, to unlock biological insight and break data from silos for a truly personal understanding of human health and in turn, enable better access to care, lower costs and improved outcomes.
Dr. Priyadarshini moved to Singapore almost 15 years ago and has been instrumental in establishing the Asia Pacific business for multinational healthcare companies such as GfK and Truven Health. Before joining Microsoft, Dr. Priyadarshini was the Asia Pacific Vice President of Sales for Truven Health Analytics, part of IBM Watson Health, where she pioneered the adoption of Watson in the region.
Born in Chennai, India, Dr. Priyadarshini graduated as a Fellow from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A), Ahmedabad, where she completed her Doctorate in Business Management.
Evan Dumas. Regional Director for South East Asia, Check Point
Evan Dumas is the Regional Director for South East Asia, Check Point. With nearly two decades of experience under his belt, he currently leads a multi-cultural team, using cutting edge technology to help Customers & Partners secure their business and enable growth through the adoption of advanced security solutions.
As Regional Director, Evan is responsible for Check Point's business in South East Asia as well as developing relationships in key accounts to Identify and solve customer problems. He spends most of his time in the field meeting with customers, prospects and channel partners focused on ensuring customer satisfaction through collaboration.
An advocate of threat prevention as best practice and passionate about understanding the business environment, Evan has contributed to multiple initiatives focused on improving the security of business while maintaining end user experience helping customers and partners use cyber security as an enabler.
Outside of work, Evan enjoys reading and spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid outdoorsman and a seasoned cyclist.
Tim Kelsey, Senior Vice President of HIMSS Analytics International
Tim Kelsey is senior vice president of HIMSS Analytics International supporting the digital empowerment of health and wellbeing around the world. He is an internationally regarded expert in the digital transformation of health and care. He has designed and successfully implemented national digital health strategies in two countries – in Australia, as Chief Executive of the Australian Digital Health Agency (2016-20) and in England, as NHS National Director for Patients and Information (2012-15). He was also National Information Director for health and care in England and Chair of the National Information Board and, before that, the British government's first Executive Director of Transparency and Open Data.
